Cora

Breeding Mare

Colour:   Bay / Roan

Height:   16.1hh

Born:     May 2002

Cora has the best temperament of the whole mare band. She is good as gold and a very attractive mare , she has lovely movement and passes on these traits to her offspring.

Cora was bought from Gorsebridge sales and has been worth every penny. Her breeding combines the best of Irish breeding with interesting blood provided by her sire, the Selle francais Stallion, Don Juan de la Bouverie.

Cora can only be described as proven. A very fertile mare that has produced 4 quality foals with 4 inseminations! Cora’s first foal, Diamontanz, a fine moving colt by the superb Bockmann stallion Fidertanz was kept entire and won the BEF Futurity dressage section. Diamontanz is standing at the Wilderswood Stud.

She has then produced Macey by Light and Easy who sold to a top showing home and Romeo, a lovely coloured colt by Bazaars Chief. Romeo was sold locally, has also been kept entire and will be standing at stud in the future.

Her 2011 filly by Bazaars Chief is very much in the stamp of Macey and is available for sale.
