Blue Hors Zack

This sire is not owned by John Barlow Horses, but is one of the sires of choice for our young horses

Blue Hors Zack is a stallion of exceptional quality who has three outstanding gaits and not least the ability to collect which together with a fantastic approach to work make Zack a stallion with a great future ahead of him.  Zack won the qualifier for the Danish dressage championship for six-year-olds with a score of 9.22 points. He was the only sire with two daughters in the finale for 2-year-old fillies at the Danish Elite Mare Show at Vilhelmsborg in 2010. One of Zak’s sons is now licensed in Oldenburg, and at the Danish Warmblood pre-selections and4 of his sons have been selected for the stallion licensing in Herning 2011. At the 2010 Blue Hors Foal Championship he had 8 premium foals in the final and one of them was the Champion Colt.

Zack is by Rousseau, the Dutch performance test winner who won the 2002 Pavo Cup in Holland with the highest score until then and both test riders awarded him 10.  At the age of 5 Rousseau won the stallion class at ’s-Hertogenbosch and went on to win silver at the world championships for young horses in Verden.

Also this year Zack’s dam sire Jazz is the highest ranked dressage sire in the world and Rousseau’s sire Ferro ranks as 10th best in the world.
